It’s finally here（やっとここ迄これました！）
Finally the time I have been waiting for has arrived. Ever since they announced the inclusion of rugby in this years Olympics I have been anticipating this momentous occasion. I am fortunate enough that my small island country, with less than quarter of the budget that other main rugby nations spend on their rugby team, go into the games as the number one seed and the most likely to win the gold medal. Coming from a country that is crazy about this version of the game, winning our first gold medal ever in this sport is something that words can not describe. It is a feeling that surpasses the greatest joy ever felt. It is such an overwhelming emotion that if we do win, our nation as a whole cries for joy. It is one of those rare moments where ethnicity is forgotten, differences buried and everyone is united as one in joyous celebration.
So for this next three days , i will be on my feet, heart in my mouth and lungs emptied as I cheer and support my rugby team in the hope that we will win that gold medal and have a fairy tale ending.
When we are not cheering for Japan please join me and lets bind together and cheer for Fiji
