Sakura in Saga 佐賀の桜

One of my favorite times of the year in Japan is sakura season. Only once a year the sakura trees bloom. Then, before you know it, their magnificently pink petals wilt and fall off the trees. So I make sure to take plenty of pictures before it’s too late.
This year I am happy to enjoy sakura season in Saga. I’ve taken pictures of sakura near my apartment and in the park by the Saga prefectural office. This weekend I plan on relaxing under some sakura trees and bathing in this wonderful sunny weather. Stay tuned for updates about my weekend.
